Referral limit exceeded

Referral limit exceeded

After doing a new install and starting things up, customer gets the following error :

javax.naming.LimitExceededException: Referral limit exceeded [Root exception is
com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapReferralException: [LDAP: error code 10 - 0000202B: RefErr: DSID-031006E0, data 0, 1 access points ref 1: ’192.168.1.16’


The customer accidentally put in an ip number for the search scope in the 8090 management console. Once the proper search scope was entered along with domain tree root and webnetwork was shut down and started back up things worked.
