We’re always working to improve Unified Workspace. The latest version includes significant enhancements to speed and general performance, as well as new capabilities to optimize the AD/LDS experience, improved directory login speed, and general bug fixes.

  • New user accounts are now automatically provisioned in AD LDS upon the first login.
  • Added swaresAMAccountName to the variable pick list when using AD LDS.
  • Updated the directory sync process to better handle missing attributes, distribution groups, and attributes that were deleted.
  • Updated the webPass definition for the new Office 365 sign-in experience.
  • Updated the Slingshot MSI installer to support windows system level installations.
  • Updated OpenSSL used inside of Slingshot.
  • Updated Java SE used by LUW server installer.
  • Added localization improvements for German, Japanese, and Chinese to the Slingshot launcher.
  • Added ability to dynamically resolve a directory variable in the Stoneware Variables webAdmin Utility.
  • Fixed issue with occasionally slow logins for local users synced. 
  • Fixed issue where users were seeing slow logins with or without DirCache.
  • Fixed issue with an out of memory error in some environments after using the management console to restart.
  • Fixed issue where Google G Suite was not honoring the Close-Window option on the SAML logout process.
  • Fixed Java client version check in response to changes by Oracle and how the version numbers are tracked.
