User not able to change password in Unified Workspace

User not able to change password in Unified Workspace

How to enable Change Password debug, when having trouble with users not being able to change, or reset, their password in Unified Workspace.

The Change Password debug needs to be enabled on the server that connects to your directory.  You may know this as the Loader / Access Control Server / Server (versus the Relay that users connect to).

If you have more than one Loader / ACS / Server, you will need to enable this debug on the server your user will be accessing.  If in doubt, enabled the debug on all of the servers.

To enable the debug:
  1. Browse to the server's 8090 Management Console.
  2. Select the Logging tab.
  3. Click the Reset button, to disable any debug that may have been left enabled from a previous time.
  4. Click the checkbox for "Change Password" preset.
  5. Click the Launch button to open the logging console window.
Now try to change, or reset, the user's password in Unified Workspace from another browser or workstation.

You should see the Change Password debug in the logging console, showing why the user is not able to change their password.
