Is Windows Server 2022 supported by Unified Workspace?


Solution

We are still in full testing of UW on Windows Server 2022, however we are seeing that UW functions properly on Server 2022.

The issue we have with Windows Server 2022 is that our current installer is not Windows Server 2022 aware, and therefore will not run when trying to perform a fresh install, or upgrade, of UW on a Windows Server 2022 server.  We are working on updating the UW installer to support Windows Server 2022.

The current workaround to run the installer on Server 2022 is to set the UW installation executable to run in Windows 8 Compatibility mode.

Upgrading the OS, on a current UW server, to Windows Server 2022 should not cause any issues, other than you will not be able to update UW to newer releases until such time as our installer is updated to support Windows server 2022.
