Referral error on console

Referral error on console

The customer is seeing this error repeatedly on our UW server console. 
INFO (02/05) 10:11:05 [stderr]: javax.naming.PartialResultException: Unprocessed Continuation Reference(s); remaining name ’dc=EDU,dc=myschool,dc=ca’ 

This typically means that Microsoft Active Directory LDAP told webNetwork to go and chase a referral. When it is given a referral it is told to connect to the real machine name of the server. For this reason, we added the Environment Check button to make sure that forward and reverse DNS resolved properly. So not only for Lenovo Software but other Microsoft stuff, you will want to make sure that you don't have any errors in the test. That test is similar to DNSLint from Microsoft which does a similar test and more to verify DNS in your tree so that replication and tree walking happens properly.
