A customer reported that they have several users who can’t use RDP through the portal. It sits there with a white screen while connecting and then finally gives an error connecting to 127.0.0.5
HF2 makes some changes to allow XP home and XP Pro and Vista to better access sslvpn using loopback addresses. With various patches, XP Home only allowed 127.0.0.1 , XP Pro liked anything EXCEPT 127.0.0.1. There is a patch from Microsoft that helps with this issue by opening up the loopback adapters for RDP. HF2 for 5.1 however helps resolve this issue with updated RDP client code from Microsoft.
