Are there performance issues with using a Terminal Server webapp to access a Flash based content?
We've found the graphics refreshing with the Flash content is not smooth when using the web based clients.
webRDP HTML5 and webRDP Java clients are the jitteriest of the available clients. Also, they do not currently support sound, so any Flash based content with sounds will not pass the sounds to the user's client.
The ActiveX client is slightly better, with a little less jitter and delays. This client also does support passing the sound to the user's client.
The best client for Flash content is the native RDP client (such as mstsc.exe for Windows). This client seems to have the smoothest display of the Flash content, and also supports passing the sound to the user's client.
