Launching the Student installer a second time will uninstall.

Problem: Launching the student installer a second time will uninstall the LanSchool Student.

Cause: LanSchool uses the original installation file that was used (e.g - Teacher.msi) to uninstall the product. It behaves like a toggle switch.

Soultion(s): The Student.msi has an option to only upgrade, the teacher will soon have this also.

The command line parameter to prevent a silent upgrade from accidentally uninstalling the Student, when the same version already exists, is: ONLY_INSTALL_UPGRADE.

The following is an example of how you might use it :
msiexec.exe /i student.msi /l*v install.log /qn ADVANCED_OPTIONS=1 CHANNEL=3 ENABLECHANNELSELECT=1 ONLY_INSTALL_UPGRADE=1
