User has hp Tablet with IE 7 and XP SP2 and when they run a terminal server proxy webapp that connects to the terminal server and uses third party plugins like ScrewDriver (from Tricerat http://www.tricerat.com/ )
IE crashes with
szAppName : iexplore.exe
szModVer : 0.0.0.0
szModName : hunapp
If you connect to a terminal server and the browser crashes, it is almost always some type of plugin for Internet Explorer. If you look at the error details and see AppName: iexplorer.exe ModName: unknown modver: 0.0.0.0 then that typically indicates that a third party plug in is failing. webNetwork is not causing the browser to crash, a module for the ActiveX browser based RDP client is crashing and thus causing the browser to crash.
To test this, connect to a terminal server application that does not have any addition parameters configured or temporarily remove the parameters for the terminal server webapp.
If you are seeing szModName:hungapp then very possibly there is a problem with your anti virus software and the third party plugins for the RDP client. Disable your Anti virus software and test, then disable the plugins for the terminal server plugin and test.
One customer found that on his HP Tablet with XP SP3 and IE7 that his version of AVG and the Tricert screwdriver plugins did not work and would cause the hungapp error.
