How to enable font smoothing in Terminal Server 2003?

Microsoft has a patch and registry entry for font smoothing in server 2003 RDP sessions. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946633 can be used to obtain the path.

You should also check the registry key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\TSEnableFontSmoothing and make sure it is set to 1.

After the registry change, the server will have to be rebooted.

Then when you connect with your RDP 6 or higher client you can enable font smoothing in the client.
