How to disable password saving - Firefox

Having multiple methods for saving a password in the browser can cause confusion for the user.

To disable password saving in Firefox, launch Firefox and perform the following steps.

  1. Click the Firefox menu.
  2. Choose Options or Preferences (depending on your version of Firefox).
  3. Choose Privacy & Security.
  4. Uncheck Remember logins and passwords for websites.
