Change AD server address

Change AD server address

Issue

Where do I go in Unified Workspace (formerly webNetwork) to change the Microsoft AD server that UW talks to?

Solution
  1. Browse to the UW loader's 8090 Management Console
The loader, is the UW server that connects to your directory.  You may have more than one loader.
  2. Select the Directory tab.
  3. Adjust the Host Address and Global Address fields to point to the desired Domain Controller.
  4. Click the Save button.
UW needs to be restarted for the change to take effect.
  1. Select the Settings tab.
  2. Click the Shutdown button.
  3. Once the UW service is shut down, you will need to go to Windows' Services control panel, to re-start the UW service.
