Browser Extensions that cause issues with the Lenovo Unified Workspace

Certain browser extensions cause features of the Lenovo Unified Workspace (formerly webNetwork) not to work correctly.

Adblock extensions, in general, cause LUW issues, as they tend to block various Java Script files.

It is recommended to uninstall, or disable, these extensions when using the browser to access the LUW.


Chrome Browser Extensions that are specifically known to cause issues:
  • Buffer - Causes the login to loop over and over when the SCA profile dashboard is being drawn (similar to just refreshing browser).
  • Dragon web Extension - Causes the login to loop over and over when the SCA profile dashboard is being drawn (similar to just refreshing browser).

As of UW release 6.4.3.19, this issue should be resolved with Chrome browser extensions.


Firefox Browser Extensions that are specifically known to cause issues:
  • Diigo Web Collector - Capture and Annotate - Causes the login to loop over and over when the SCA profile dashboard is being drawn (similar to just refreshing browser).
